     David Lee Johnson, 64, of Peoria, passed away at 7:46 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2015, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
     Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria, with Rev. Barry A. Long officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
     David was born on April 4, 1951 in Chicago, a son of Harold and Leona Anna (Krause) Johnson. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Rose Johnson.
     He is survived by his sister, Carol Anne Johnson (Ernie Frisicchio) of Hockessin, DE; brother, Paul Harold Johnson of Decatur; nephews, Derek Frisicchio of Hockessin and Christopher Johnson of Northeast Maryland; nieces, Kimberly (Vince) Douglas of Northeast Maryland and Dawn Marie Johnson of Edwardsville; a great nephew, Reno Douglas; and a great niece, Isabella Dudich.
     As a youth in Bloomington, David was involved in the Singing Yers and the Boy Scouts. He was a 1969 graduate of Bloomington High School.
     He was employed with Monical’s Pizza in Peoria. He was formerly employed at Avanti’s in Peoria and as a Director of Operations for Bonanza in the Peoria area.
     David enjoyed attending estate sales and auctions, cooking, gardening, traveling, especially on world-wide cruises, and taking care of his dog, Rosie. He loved and cared about his family and was a great friend to those around him.
     Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association, Station WTVP PBS Affiliate or to South Side Mission.

Carol Anne and Paul - so sorry to hear of David's passing.  Sorry I could not attend visitation or services as I just returned home form mom's funeral.  My condolences to you all.
